In controlled environments, your Patio Sun & Wind Screen can withstand wind gusts up to 20-30mph (not sustained). In natural environments, wind can increase speed and change directions rapidly, making it unpredictable. As a rule of thumb, if you are comfortable sitting outside, then the unit is likely to be safe.

You may leave the awning out in light rain/sprinkle, but you should never allow water to pool on the fabric.

The awning is designed to be self-supporting. The arms contain very strong springs that push the awning out and maintain fabric tension.

Yes! This can usually be accomplished without ever having to remove the awning frame from your home. Please contact our office for pricing on a new awning recover.
